Since the day we got married John has talked about wanting/needing a second home in Montana on the lake. He grew up spending the Summers in the lake and wanted that for his children. The day we found out we were expecting... the search was on for the perfect lake house. One month after we found out we were having a boy the deal was sealed. I could not travel in the mid to end of my pregnancy because of the kidney stones I was now carrying, so this was my first time seeing our new place. We plan to eventually spend half the year here... This trip was 2 weeks long and we loved every second of it. I can't wait to be back in Montana next month!

Papa Parry and Tayber first meet! I could not wait for this meeting since every one constantly comments about their resemblance...

Calm baby watching the lake from the bedroom...

Since Tayber was born in the middle of one of San Diegos hottest Summers he was loving being bundled up in the really cold weather...

I will never forget this morning because it was the first morning in 6 months I woke up well rested! Taybers first night sleeping through the night! I felt very blessed he did it at such a young age, so I am told! He slept from 9pm to 7am! Yippee!!!

Tayber meets grandma Adair

Thursday was a bright sunny day.....

Friday it dumped snow.. I was actually really happy to see snow since I have been sweating for the last 7 months...

Our new cabin was built on an island in the center of the lake. This is the back view. It's just dreamy!!

Our first flight went pretty well! Tayber was 9 weeks 3 days on the arrival flight. He was such a good baby, the passengers around us were shocked that there was infant next to them as we exited the plane. The trip was a total of 6 hours with a lay over in Seattle.

Tayber Shockey 9 weeks
16.5 pounds 26 inches long
100% in weight 100% in height
Broke the 22 year record at the pediatricians office for his age today
Every one at the office is always in shock at his size, they tease me about my "gold breast milk"

Tayber got his first vaccines today... He did so well... but I still gave him extra lovin..

Aunty Natalie comes to visit!

Now that the little man can see better he loves to play... He is pretty good at entertaining himself so mom can take a shower every once and a while...

Tayber is quite the happy baby! He smiles and giggles all day, but you can catch his personality shining the most in the morning! I can not keep my eyes off this boy:)
Today I learned that my son actually weighed 8 lbs 14 oz at birth. Do not ask me where "we" meaning myself, the doctor and every one else got 8 lbs 6 oz from! I have been pretty pissed about this all morning, but I am just going to let it go at this point :)

Tayber loves the front baby back pack! It is mostly how I get work done. I kinda love it too, it reminds me of being pregnant with him... We are probably stuck together 50% of the day:)
Tayber hates the car seat still. I have tried everything to get this kid to adapt to it. So far.. it's a melt down every car ride! Hopefully he learns to love it soon or road trips are going to be no fun...

Some of my favorite recent instagram pictures
Tayber's first California cousin is finally here!! Wyatt is 3 weeks younger than Tayber. These two are going to have a blast as they grow up near one another. And yes, my child is a very big boy:)

We headed out to Ramona to a real pumpkin farm today. There were so many fun things to do out there! A corn maze, petting zoo and pony rides to just name a few. Our little ones are a little young to enjoy the festivities but it was still a fun day. Next year will be a blast when they can run around the farm. Tayber was super sleepy do to a full tummy and the super warm weather, we could barely get him to keep his eyes open much less show off his strong neck skills:) John picked us the perfect pumpkin, we will be carving it at the pumpkin carving party later this month.
