Johnny was out of town when I found out the gender of our first little one. He was pretty upset he couldn't be there so I wanted to do something special to reveal the surprise. I came up with the idea to bake a white frosting cake with a color filling, pink or blue. Since we all thought it was a girl I figured pink cake filling was a cinch. But when I got the news it was a boy I got a little worried as to what I could use for a blue ingredient. I came to the conclusion to just use blue food coloring to dye a white vanilla filling. It came out more of a navy but he got the point :)

 I would say he was a little shocked, since day 1 he was more than sure it was a baby girl. I love this video, it makes me fall more in love with this man every time I watch it. I am beyond excited to start a family with him... And beyond excited to hold our new baby boy.. It's a long time coming:)
